Charter schedule

Yachts charters begin and end Saturdays for multiples of seven days. In the low season period however, this may be flexible and there could be some exceptions always depending on yachts availability.
Always charters begin at 17:00 hrs on the first day. In case we can deliver the yacht earlier - without compromising our standards - we will do so, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Charters end at 09:00 on the last day of charter. Usually our clients return to Dolphin Yachts base the evening before, -normally Friday- sleep on board and depart around 09:00 hrs on Saturday morning, giving us time to have the yacht prepared and in perfect working condition for the next charter.

Sailing diploma

Bareboat yacht charters in Greece legally require two crew members capable of commanding the vessel. The skipper should have an appropriate, recognized sailing certificate, or demonstrate sailing club membership. lf not issued by a EU (European Union) member, the certification should carry a translation in Greek or in English.
An official declaration stating the skipper's competence may also be required if the harbor authorify considers this necessary. The co-skipper should provide similar certification to the skipper but may otherwise sign a self-declaration for the Port Authority. Both skipper and co-skipper may also be reguired to submit a sailing resume to enable us to assess their ability to sail safely. We reserve the right to insist that charterers hire a skipper, despite their certification, if their sailing skills are not judged sufficient by our staff.

In case you need to hire a skipper, we can settle everything so that a very experienced professional skipper will join you at extra charge.

• Fuel : Yachts are delivered with their tanks filled up.
• Port or Marina fees: Applies to almost all ports in Greece, at varied costs.
• Optionals and End cleaning as per price list.

The refundable deposit guarantee

All our yachts are insured against fire, marine and collision risks, third party damage and against any and all loss or damage in excess of the amount of the deposit guarantee. If there is no damage or loss to the yacht or her equipment, this figure is returned to you.
